This was the idyllic dream paradise location - large well-maintained private home located on the beach under coconut trees, the sounds of the waves to lull you to sleep. 7 miles of uninterrupted empty beach. Not much more to ask. Friendly and attentive staff. Great food if you have your meals cooked. Kayaking, surfing or swimming just out the front door. Turtle camp short walk away. Sunset release of newly hatched turtles and late night turtle egg rescue were trip highlights and made me feel I had directly helped an endangered species. Keep in mind this location is [truly] secluded - so plan accordingly.“

  • “I hesitantly write this review as I feel like this is our secret vacation getaway location and not sure I want to give away our secret! This was our 3rd time to Playa las Tortugas and our 1st time at Villa Tortuga. The house is beautiful, extremely well maintained and clean. The bedding is fabulous with very nice sheets - and the pillow selection is divine! We have 2 young boys and thus having our own little pool is very convenient, but the community pool is so close too. And the beach is beautiful, clean and quite. I would highly recommend getting a cook. The food is delicious and it makes for a relaxing vacation.“
